In the light of the current COVID-19 concern, the Friends of Black Mountain are keeping in line with the ACT Environment Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate including the ACT Parks and Conservation Service. With regret, we will halt all our community and volunteer events until it is deemed safe by Government to resume.
This decision has been made to protect the health of our committee members and our many fabulous volunteers as well as everyone who comes to our events. Meanwhile, look out for messages on Facebook and this site.
Friends of Black Mountain is an energetic local community group of volunteers who help conserve and promote Black Mountain's biodiversity and values now and for future generations.
Our main activities are to organise walks and talks for the public and weeding parties to keep weeds under control.
New members are always welcome. Contact email@example.com.
