Our June talk this year will be presented by Douglas Finlayson, an expert on the geology of the Canberra region and Black Mountain.
Black Mountain is the oldest geological feature of the present-day Canberra area topography. Doug will explain the significance of Black Mountain’s formation and the geological features that were formed during ice ages in the last one million years. Doug’s talks are always informative and entertaining, and we’re sure that it will be well worth putting into your diaries now.
We look forward to seeing you at this talk.
After the talk there will be time for questions, followed by light refreshments.
