Thank very much to the wonderful weeders who removed thousands of woody weeds of various ages at the September weeding work party. We look forward to seeing you at the Next Weeding Work Party on the first Saturday of the month.

Also, a big thank you to the newer Friday Weeders who removed 7 mature and very large woody weeds at the end of August.

Our next weeding work party is planned for Saturday, 5 October 2019, 9am to 12 noon. As Linda and Libby will be away, Cath is the key contact this month.

We shall focus on the small remaining area of woodland in the south-west corner of the Black Mountain Reserve.

Meet

At the Caswell Drive eastern car park on mountain side. Limited parking. Drive from Belconnen Way southwards along Caswell Drive towards Glenloch Interchange. Note the yellow diamond shape advisory sign showing access road on left, and the blue and white “P” sign for parking. Pull into the carpark carefully. Look for banners.

Bring

Enthusiasm, your family and friends, water. Everyone is welcome.

Wear: hat, sunscreen, long-sleeved shirt, long pants, gloves, stout shoes.
