We are planning a weeding work party for the first Saturday in February at the Australian National Botanic Gardens (ANBG) and keeping our fingers crossed the weather will be kinder - especially wishing for some gentle, steady rain.

We will be removing tagged weeds in specific sections of the ANBG.

We shall be breaking for morning tea at about 10.00 a.m.

Meet

Top Row, South car park, ANBG. Come through the main gates, turn left very soon after, follow the perimeter of the parking lot up to the top row. Park near the parking meter. Look for balloons.

Bring

Enthusiasm, your family and friends, water. Everyone is welcome.

Wear: hat, sunscreen, long-sleeved shirt, long pants, gloves, stout shoes.

Bookings essential. Places are limited, please email your name and phone number to friendsofblackmountain@gmail.com or phone 0437 298 711 as this helps with catering and so that you can be contacted if arrangements need to change (e.g. adverse weather).
